After a number of adventures including being stranded by the side of a motorway with a boiling, steaming engine, we managed to get to the South of France and stay by the Mediterranean sea for a few nights where we snorkelled and swam and ate seafood. So, we have not been able to use the sitting room since mid-January due to huge amounts of kitchen stuff being in there until all kitchen work is finished. Kitchen work is almost finished, and Dave's cupboard is complete, so today has been spent filling the cupboard with Ordnance Survey maps (it has a shelf specifically designed for them!), books ( Read more... )

We think we found a camper van yesterday, however, there is a question mark over the soundness of the chassis. The current owners are getting it MOT tested next week, and if it passes as sound (or has some small issues that they will get sorted) then we're going to get it. OK, so we've decided to take the plunge and buy a camper van. This is great news and I'm really excited. So after a week of diligent searching on ebay and Preloved.co.uk, we have found a few interesting looking vans and we're hoping to take a look.
