"I do love my ABCs..."

Started my playthrough of Shattered Memories, and that's what Harry said when I had him look at a poster of "don't do drugs" or some shit. Dammit Harry don't turn into a pothead >:[
I like this version of Harry, so far. He hasn't done anything spectacularly stupid or creepy to turn me off. Though the drug thing and when I accidentally had him look at a whiskey keg he went "mm. mm. mmm." kinda strike against him. lmao. I'm trying to keep an honest playthrough while at the same time trying to get the "normal" ending. I'm probably gonna end up with the "Drunk" ending though at this rate :/ One thing I hate about this game because I love looking at everything but it ends up screwing around with your ending. I've been diligent in avoiding sexual stuff, though I accidentally walked into the damn Cathouse :/ I was thinking of getting the "Sex" ending last, but I think that should be the next one I get just so I get the creepiness over with.
Thankfully I got normal Cybil, though. I love that Cybil. Love her more than SH1's leather chick. Seriously, what cop wears leather/vinyl pants? I'm glad I can take this normal Cybil more seriously, and she's pretty awesome. I wouldn't have minded getting bitch!Cybil either, lol. Other than character version, I'm not comparing the two games since they're completely different. I'm mostly now doing my judging based on gameplay, plot, aesthetic, and mood. Mood's kinda failing there so far. Not very scary. Some creepy and disturbing moments, but still kinda lacking. Gameplay, well.. Keep it the way it is but add a damn steel pipe and I'd be the happiest survival horror chick.
I got the "abstract" Raw Shocks. I don't know if they'll keep changing but those are the ones I got so far. God damn those things are annoying. The chase sequences are okay, but it's a pretty big, predictable problem. "oh the ice's coming NOW it's time to run into blue doors." They're intense, just not scary. Lack of lag would probably help.
Oh yeah, PS2 version? TONS OF LAG. It's not affecting my gameplay that much but it can get annoying when Harry walks/slams through a door and I get a momentary thought of "omg frozen???" I thought it was just going to be the doors but it's also just walking around in the environment. Fucking Climax for wanting to put it on the Wii.
I can't wait to get back to playing it. I'm really hoping I won't be disappointed.
Also the final two bosses in Devil May Cry 3 were disappointingly easy. :/ I didn't die once.
