Day 2

Oct 24, 2008 21:17

One day, 23 hours, 9 minutes and 32 seconds. 35 cigarettes not smoked, saving $4.77. Life saved: 2 hours, 55 minutes.

It's much easier than previous attempts.   However you people need to start answering your phones when I'm calling you while driving.  Driving is the worst part.   It's boring.  I know now why there's so many wrecks.  All the non-smokers are bored at the wheel and not paying attention.  The drive to and from work is when I smoked the most.   So I've been doing my version of drunk dialing and calling random people on my cellphone.  Which brings us back to the importance of answering said calls.

Other than that...

Mom's doing much better.  She's getting around with a walker (and my dad hovering behind her just in case) and is eating solid foods and more of them.  My aunt comes over every Sunday and brings her home cooked meals.   I know she gets bored a lot, but there's not much we can do for that right now.
