Ludwig had spent the last few weeks drowning himself in work, trying to distract himself into not thinking about what there might be between Feliciano and his cousin Otto. He had hoped that maybe if he ignored it, the suspicion and feeling of betrayal would go away. It hadn't. Feliciano had been disappearing at odd times, and skipping work more often than usual. He hadn't heard from Otto since that night.
Sighing for the tenth time in as many minutes, Ludwig slowly reached across his desk and flipped his phone open. He didn't know if Feliciano would be home when he got there, nor did he particularly want to consider where he might be if he weren't.
Punching the buttons carefully and with a distaste that suggested he had a personal quarrel with the phone, he managed to form a simple message and send it before he could change his mind.

Feliciano, I need to talk to you soon.
