you, yes you, author who wrote this hella amazing story -- kudos to you. 10000000 kudos.

okay i went in this expecting a light-hearted romp with cop jokes and baekhyun doing cool flips buT INSTEAD I GOT AN EMOTIONALLY PAINFUL ROLLERCOASTER THAT I READ IN ONE STRAIGHT GO AND IT WAS SO WORTH IT OHMYGOD

confession time: i'm usually a rather calm reader. i don't really cry easily, but for some godforsaken reason, i... basically spent the last half of this amazing fic bawling my eyes out. //slowly shrinks under desk//

the characterization of everyone was so poignant and human-- there wasn't a single flat character, and even people with the smallest roles like yoora and suho were realistic and believable. the backstories were written beautifully and they hit home hard -- amber's confession was one of the most heartbreaking things i have ever read. chanyeol was so honest and open that it was hard for me to not love him by just the first few paragraphs <3 ( ... )

wow thank you so much for this gigantic comment!! And good job reading it all in one go, as well -- you must be a very fast reader, haha. I remember when I read through this fic to do my final edit and, no joke, it took me a whole fooking week. So when I saw that there was already a comment so quickly after my fic was posted, I was like 'woah!'. But it made my day, seriously. I love comments so much, and i love giant ones even more ( ... )

hahaa i don't know how I could do that to Baek either ;____; but it was worth making him suffer lol (sorry, I'm evil), because I think it only made people love him more.

To say that you took life lessons from this fic blows me away, haha, and I'm really happy it had that much of an effect on you. It's really nice to see that it's more than just a story to the people who have read it. It makes all the effort i put into it worthwhile.

And I thought I made Baek suffer enough, I couldn't give him a sad ending!! I very rarely write sad endings to be honest, haha, I'm more a happy ending kind of person. I'm so happy you liked the fic, and thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment, it really means a lot to me xx

Okay. This literally took me 3 hours and 2 full batteries for me to finish this masterpiece. Omg this is so worth reading because hello. Chanyeol in police uniform. Hottie much. And baekhyun as a rascal was tip top. I like 'the fuzz' referance where is the small town and such and well damn sargent angel duhhh.

What i like is that chanyeol simple ways that peels baek personality. From a juvenile to the little munchkin that need to be loved and cared 24/7. And u made the fic in a more realistic where chan is not the perfect guy but someone u can relate to where not everybody is perfect and in order to be good u may have obstacles on the way. Like he was transferred to make himself better.

I like all the little details u put in the stories. From the ufo sort of restaurant to how the police station looks like.

This fic can be turn into a movie in my opinion. We need more realistic movies nowadays.

Thank u authornim. 70k++++ words are definately worth reading and dis is absolutely one of my top 3 favourite from BAE

haha I WAS WAITING TO SEE IF ANYONE WOULD NOTICE THE HOT FUZZ INSPIRATION BEHIND THIS FIC. You're the only one who mentioned it, so congrats. Hot Fuzz is far and away my favourite police movie, haha.

I'm so glad you liked Baek and Yeol's characters; especially Yeol, because I was worried he might come across as being a bit too weak when compared to Baek. But he was meant to be flawed -- they both were -- so I'm really happy that you liked that part of his character too, and not just the good parts.

haha, hello dear prompter!

I was rubbing my hands together when I saw your prompt, because I'd been wanting to write a delinquent Baek for a while, and i thought to myself 'this is THE PERFECT PROMPT TO DO THAT LOL YAY'. ...Unfortunately, I neglected to take into account the amount of research that writing a realistic cop fic would entail. Lol. Which in this case was a hell of a lot, as it turns out. Oh well, haha... it was an honest mistake.

Sooooo this fic was actually a lot harder to write than I thought it would be lol, and I was totally unprepared for the challenge. But I think I did quite well, considering, and I'm really happy that you liked the outcome. I'm not sure if I was the person you were thinking of, but those things you mentioned do sound like things I write about / am obsessed with (I must have a tummy fetish or something, because it's in every fic i write istg lmao). So if you were referring to me, then I am very honoured to have written this fic for you... and if i'm not that person, then I'm honoured anyway, ( ... )
