Some points:
- I got this box set last year (can't remember if it was for xmas or bday!) but it kept sitting on the shelf!
These are the covers of book 1 and 2.
- I borrowed the cd from LPL (B) which is read by Kenneth Branagh.
- Very good performance and enjoyable listening experience.
- The story is great. I noticed lots of things were drawn from the Bible's Genesis story.
- On ward to the next book. I like the characters except the witch and uncle Andrew!
Bottom line, very interesting first volume.

- I thought I read this one based on the review/discussion on Dear Author, but I can't find any reviews on her. Maybe it's from my fl!
- Very fast read. I like Isabella, she was able to protect herself. I think I may like Lucy better because of her innocence.
- Harry took his role a bit too far.
- First misunderstanding from gossip!
- Rupert is such a despicable villain.
- There is a reference on the main characters of The Spanish Bride by Georgette Harriet which I had borrowed but returned after only reading the first chapter.
- One of the character who was a soldier in the Spanish war against Napoleon, called him name. I was wondering if that was his sentiment or that of the author. I leaned toward the former but still.
Bottom line, interesting story.

Bottom line, fun fast read and reread.
