Ooh, good job on the Twitter-stalking! Too bad it's just interns running the TP twitter account, so they can't actually give an informed response... *whiny*
I saw that news about print-on-demand! My first response is raaaaarg now it'll be more complicated (and probably more expensive) to get the rest of M&N! But you're right, I'm glad they're finishing it one way or another. I wonder if they're planning to bring back more of the still-hiatused series this way.
On the Neko Ramen/Ballad reviews above, did the last lines of each get switched? Or are there cute cats in Ballad too?
"... so they can't actually give an informed response..." that and since Secret Kanoko is still running, it's unlikely they look at its sequel. But at least there is someone other than just you and me interested and even asks for it! It's definitely going to be expensive - I looked around and found the price is 15.99/volume in a last year announcement! So ... I'm hoping Zig*Zag will be added - maybe someone on twitter would ask! I just want to see Platinum Garden finishes! Sorry too many exclamation points. There are cute cats in Ballad, too. Momo has a black cat with wings familiar. The first and last story of vol 3 have a cute kitten in it.
Yeah, but the way publishers have to work ahead with licensing and getting books ready for publication, it's possible they'd be starting to look at Koi dano now. At least I think so... we shall see!
Yeah, 15.99 is the price I remember seeing for PoD books in their shop before it closed for renovations or whatever. But they had a special "opening sale" discount price before too... it'd be nice if they could bring it down a couple dollars or so. I'd love to see more Zig*Zag, as well as Nosatsu Junkie, and Hee-Jung Park's manhwa... (just in case someone from Tokyopop is reading this, haha!)
"Yeah, but the way publishers have to work ahead with licensing ... " That's so true. Fingers crossed. I wonder who has the licensed to Fruits Basket's author's just ended series (don't remember the title) - I remember TP had a poll last year about that series. "just in case someone from Tokyopop is reading this, haha!" It's very unlikely - heh. It's more likely that they read yours :) Didn't someone from publishing company read/comment on your journal some time ago?
