Hehe. It's funny that you pick up some of the same titles as me, probably for some of the same reasons (the rightstuf sale in this case). I just finished reading Over the Rainbow myself... also lured in by the glasses-guy, hahaha. I'd read an older, historical series by the author before (scanlated) so I was curious what this would be like. I was glad it wasn't a love triangle though, so the story could focus on other things. It was a little bit hard-to-follow though, story-wise. You're right, Key's past never was exactly explained... But still, the stories had some pretty sweet moments, and it was nice to read something a bit different from standard shoujo.
I'm curious about Taniguchi-sensei, but I think my library has a few of her books, so maybe I'll just borrow 'em.

"Key's past never was exactly explained..." I'm glad I'm not the one feels that way. I would like to see the other guy's marriage resolved, though. It seems that they still love each other, right?
"I'm curious about Taniguchi-sensei ..." Yeah, her first series I read was 2 vols of Just a Girl which I borrowed from a library. I like some of her standalone better. Aquarium is pretty good. I also like her Call me princess - pure fluff - standard trope guy moved to girl's house (her parents are there, though). I'll probably can send you Miss Me? and Let's stay together forever if you're interested.

Thanks for the comment about Happy Mania - I just want to make sure that it's not like "Sensual Phrase" (not my cup of tea).
Yeah, I thought the other guy's marriage still had a chance too... but maybe it was meant to be more open-ended or realistic? (aka not a perfect happily-ever-after ending) I'll just imagine that they get back together in a couple years :D Seems like it was published a bit irregularly, too-about one or two chapter a year in the original magazine it was serialized in, so maybe that had to do with not all the loose threads being tied up at the end
