Mini review:
- The advantage of being able to watch the whole anime season in one week :) curtesy of Rightstuf's Geneon sales.
- The story line is somewhat different. I don't mind the changes - since even though I like the manga, there isn't much happening for anime.
- The Nina's transformation every time she performs a spell is a bit redundant, I guess.
- There is a small recap of the previous episode.
- I can't say that I feel any sympathy for Maya character. In fact, I didn't like her very much in the last few episodes. I do feel sorry for Yuta.
Bottom line, it's a cute series. But the resolve about Maya bugs me a bit - I need to be more compassionate and generous ;)
Still finishing The High King, I got distracted because of Bejeweled and I was reading summarize of "Itazura na Kiss" - (イタズラなKiss, Mischievous Kiss) wiki (Here) and reading on anime episodes - I hope it gets licenced. Naoki's and Kotoko's relationship bothers me a bit. If I had been Kotoko, I'd have dropped Naoki already.
Is it true that love conquers all even though, Naoki keeps being mean to her. She was on verge of dropping him a few times, but he showed her a bit of his gentle side, then she was back by his side. I'm not sure what the message that'd send to the readers - young romantic ones especially. The art is not really cute - I can't imagine Naoki being handsome looking at the art ;) The good news is Kotoko had full support from Mama (Naoki's mom). Naoki started to show Kotoko his love in book 19 or 20 and beyond ... Finally we see the soft side of Naoki.
