13 episodes of Rumiko Takahashi (Kidô shinsengumi: Moe yo ken TV).

from Wiki

from IMBd

from Rotten Tomatoes

from Anime News Network

Each episode is a short story. They are independent from each other. Some are better than others. Will I rewatch? Sure since each episode is so short, I can just pick and choose :)

------------

60a. 1 volume of Family Complex (ファミリー・コンプレックス, Famirī Konpurēkusu).

from Digital Manga Publishing website:
Akira Sakamoto’s family sure is different. His mother is as pretty and young-looking as a shojo manga character. Hi9s father is the study-hard pretty-bishonen type. Akira’s elder brother shines like a top model. Sis elder sister looks like a pretty boy and is adored by the other girls at her school. And even his little sister is as cute as a doll.

No matter where they go, the Sakamoto family gathers everybody’s attention and admiration, making things all the more painful for Akira…. Because next to them, he pales in comparison and looks just like an ordinary person. Poor Akira has an ugly duckling complex, and his oblivious family isn’t helping!

Some points:
- I don't remember why I bought this book. I guess I want to check out this book because it's one shot instead of investing in the whole series, and before I know it, I ordered 5 volumes of princess princess and the anime also.
- They are fun book to read.
- I also like the epilogue at the end :)
- I like her art, too.

Bottom line, since it's so short, I've reread it more than once.

60b. 5 volumes of Princess Princess (プリンセス・プリンセス, Purinsesu Purinsesu).

from Digital Manga Publishing website:
Vol 1: Why is Toru Kouno receiving such an overly warm welcome at his new all boy's school? He has yet to discover the secret system called "Hime (Princess)" in effect at the school. Boys who are chosen have to dress up as a girl in every school event! Little does Kouno know that he would be the chosen one...
Vol 2: With the support of the school’s princesses, Kouno, Shihoudani, and Mikoto, the school’s athletic teams will move on in their district competitions. If they keep winning like this, the princesses will have to cheer in front of the entire country. That means going outside in their gothic Lolita outfits! But before Kouno even has a chance to worry, a girl shows up at school to see him unexpectedly. Could she be the reason why Kouno sometimes has that dark look in his eyes…?!
Vol 3: It’s the second day of the school festival and Mikoto is ditching his work and running off to his girlfriend. But his comrades are not about to leave them alone. When their heartfelt reunion is crashed by Tohru and Yuujirou, the seeds of suspicion are planted. Will Mikoto’s cross-dressing life be revealed? Will Mikoto’s girlfriend discover his dark secret?
Vol 4: It’s the second day of the school festival and Mikoto is ditching his work and running off to his girlfriend. But his comrades are not about to leave them alone. When their heartfelt reunion is crashed by Tohru and Yuujirou, the seeds of suspicion are planted. Will Mikoto’s cross-dressing life be revealed? Will Mikoto’s girlfriend discover his dark secret?
Vol 5: Our princesses are torn apart over the candidates for the next student council president. Tough Akira would have no competition in the election? Think again! A new face has come to town and he’s dead-set on winning the Presidency. Transfer student Mitaka has declared war and is steadily rallying the support of more and more students. Even the support of Mikoto? But Akira’s die hard supporters Tohru and Shihoudani have a secret plan to ensure Akira’s success. The tale of our beloved princesses has finally come to an end; join them as they take the stage one final time!

Some points:
- continue to be a fun read.
- art is attractive
- I also like to read the extra at the end of each volume - there are info there.
- It's kind of similar to Here is greenwood - just a bit extreme with the princess obsession and cross-dressing.
- It amuses me in one of the extra regarding Harue's popularity due to his glasses - it tickles me since I have a weak point for bespectacled character. Then everyone in the student consul wears glasses in the next panel - hee.

Bottom line, I've reread this a second time waiting for "The day of revolution".

continuing series:
Tsubasa 18
