Finally, it is time to rest.
The last couple of weeks have been pretty stressful. Specifically, I've gone to visit my family both of the last two weekends, once in NoVA and once in Arizona. Neither visit was bad or anything, but travel is stressful, and being around my family is not the most relaxing thing in the world for me -- especially with the transitioning thing.
I try not to make a big deal of transitioning around my family. But it is kind of on my mind, and they're definitely not quite used to the idea yet. They're trying, but I've been getting a good deal of pronoun soup, and waffling between different names for me. I'm still not to the point of correcting anyone yet, but I've stated my preferences to my family, and they're sometimes good at following them and sometimes not so much. It just takes a surprising amount of energy to always be paying a lot of attention to what pronouns people use for you.
I've also had a specific thing to do every night for the past couple weeks. A lot of those were nice social things, but it's been good to have an unplanned Friday night.
Anyway, it's a good thing I don't have much planned for this weekend. Getting a lot of sleep tonight, probably going to services tomorrow morning... relaxing...
Yeah. Maybe I'll read a book or two. Convince my tummy that no really, all the stress doesn't mean it should freak out too. Clean my room. Play some crawl.
