Seventy-fourth book started & finished in 2010: Norse Code by Greg van Eekhout (292 pp).
Was it interesting? It's the story of a Valkyrie and a God trying to avert Ragnarok. It travels through several (although not quite all) of the Nine Worlds, and is entertaining.
Well-written? There were a few moments where a turn of phrase or a revelation made me purse my lips and shake my head. Some of the sections narrated by Hugin dragged a bit. Otherwise, it was fine.
First line: "On the last true day of spring the nine worlds will ever know, my brother and I fly recon through the land of the gods."
Would I read it again? I would.
Keep or give away? Keep.
Would I read a sequel/further adventures? I would.
read a book!
