My brain is one giant question mark right now. The "durr, what the hell?" light is on too. WTF is all this?
Ok, so the phone rings this morning. Really early for the phone to be ringing (a little after 8 AM actually) and it's Tanomi. He sounded really upset and asked to speak to his father, so I handed over the phone. I was listening to Vegeta's end but I couldn't figure out what was going on by the way he spoke, so no beans there. He started to get that worried look on his face too, but then he saw I was looking and he just turned it into that dumb scowl of his. I hate it when he does that.
So off he goes, with nothing more than an, "I'll be back."
He comes back about 2 hours later asking me if I had two of "those capsules that hold people who use energy." Now I'm really confused, because I invented those capsules in case we ever needed to contain people who were energy users and could melt through bars or whatnot. They're actually just regular looking rooms, but the field stores any energy thrown at it from the persons inside. It can actually fuel itself on the person trying to escape, but if it gets too much energy thrown at it, it'll discharge the excess, thus defeating the "let's overload this to break it!" theory that someone with a brain cell might actually come up with (or maybe they saw it in a movie, who knows).
Either way, I hand over a couple capsules and off he goes again, this time with capsule D8 (it's a fairly large van) and I yell after him, "What's going on!?" and he says, "Nevermind. You'll know soon enough."
Dende I hate being surprised when stuff like this goes on.
Right after he leaves, the phone rings again. It's Nori from R&D saying that Tanomi hasn't shown up yet and she was getting a bit worried. I hate lying to Nori, she's such a sweetie, but I told her that he was feeling ill when he brought Mikomi over this morning for school and he was resting here. She had said she called his house several times but there was no answer, so that one worked out well. I apologized for not calling in sick for him and hung up.
Then, around 11, Vegeta comes back with Tanomi, and they've got a bunch of alien looking guys in the van. Looks like they kicked the crap out of them too. They weren't beaten to a bloody pulp, but it was obvious they'd all just gotten their asses kicked. Some worse than others. Vegeta kept going on about wanting to off them right then and there, but Tanomi wants them alive, so we put them in a capsule cell, but one of them Tanomi wanted separated from the rest, so he got his own cell. Living in the lap of luxury, that one is. He looks like Zarbon though.
Tanomi asked if he could call everyone over so he could explain it all at once, and I don't like waiting on this sort of thing, but I told him it was all right. So now everyone's coming over here at around 6 (I hope, you'd better all come...this is important).
So for now I'm just going to have to sit on this. Vicki needs to be fed and then maybe I'll play some video games with Miko. Vegeta doesn't really want me going around those cells, so studying the detainees is out of question right now.
