(no subject)
on LJ. I do. I mean i only seem to be able to pay attention to a facebook sized update these days. Its the devils tool. Designed to just whittle away our attention span away so that we dont notice things like 2.50 a gallon gas and how we just ACCEPT that now. btlame the Android phone too. Lil facebook thing is so neat and tidy.
Anyway i come here not to mourn LJ.. but to... eh...
Minor emergencies here... handled well by me, left me kind of forced to turn attention to outside world for moments. Handled well enuff that i managed to get that whole Texas Frightmare thing in (sorta... jesus what an embarrasment) and a trip down to a lil place i know in Texas. so handled. I mean im working on a theory of fix a problem... relax. Then fix another problem.. relax. It helps.
Lotta Call of Duty 4 in there. Mindless networking violence. the joy of taking someones life and not being arrested. Pathetic? yeah.. probably. its badm0j074 on the playstation network.
Red Dead Redemption.... well its GTH. Grand theft Horses Its GTA in the old west. I dunno... somewhat liberating if you can think of it on terms of imagining your riding thru the Oklahoma countryside... Blasting the shit out of everything.
That and just futzin around on PS3 with the netflix. seriously.. how great is THAT service. Im even impressed with the DL capability of the PS3.. seriously the media center of the 56 inch flatscreen. UBER cool. I got a copy of Iron Man cause i hadnt seen it in HD.. And like some disney for the family... Princess and the Frog and Alice in Wonderland.
Also.. since i have not played final Fantasy 7... now i got that DL'd and Marvel vs capcom.
So its cool.
Secured those days off for October and it got me to plannin. strategically planned, i could use my schedule which is i work on Friday Sat,Sun, Mon. I could work friday.. take sat, sun, mon as my paid time off... and as t w th are my natural days off.. nearly a week paid in full.
I can totally pull off a trip to somewhere else this year. Looked at some of the cons, Dragoncon is still a remote possibility, but.. i was seeing the hotel scene plus other factors, then.. there is a just maybe thats jus TOOOO much for me peoplewise. I mean costumewise i am just SO not ready to go to the extremes i see yall do. I mean hells bells its a beauty pagent already and all i got to whip out is my charm.. im a bit overmatched. Had i gotten an earlier run on this one.. i would still jump in heartbeat. Its not totally out of the running, but a perfect storm of stuff would have to happen to make it for me.
Vegas has also been crossing my mind.. but... that i think was the glimmer of a time once had there... and would NOT be the same without the same people there. Still... especially if a few were interested, its worth a looksee into the possibilitys.
Disney right now... seems a STRONG canidate.. with a possible early December timeframe in mind to allow for maximum fundage of this event. I could leave on Saturday and come back on tuesday.. possibly Wensday. 4 or 5 days--- hmm. Of course this is all contingent on it being ok with the person who.. ahem.. id have to crash with hehe. Id never ASSUME anything its the way i roll, slightly to the left.
Of fundage... my screamfest trip might have expenses cut in half.. this would be HUGE. I have a possible someone interest in comin wit me and splittin room. She might even be into me, but yaknow.. havent even looked into it.. but why not increase your odds right off the jump. Plus more spending cash.

Now heres some meat. Those demons of old may be damn near excorcised. I regret NOTHING. This was the way it had to go down for me. in the hands of criminals and it's making ordinary people like you and me deal with those criminals. You ever dealt with a drug dealer? It's terrible, it's weird, it's awkward. They think they're your friend,but they're not." this is just like Coffee to some of you, its that kinda deal.. Definately deal with lifes volume level down a bit. Still able to deal with things, but they dont go to heart as fast. and its helping me enjoy the little things that i should have been seeing all along.

I wont feel any shame for having an ideal that you should not give in until you are thoroughly sure that there is nothing more you can do. yah thats bad when that applies to multiiple people in your life huh? So like ok when i first heard about Vince Youngs latest incident.. my first and immediate thought was, "oh you lil punk. dude what the hell is wrong with you anyway.. " and immediately went to wondering what it is about Dallas Strippers, and what they do these athletes to get em so effin dumb.
but then i hear that what started the fight was that someone came up to "Mr Effin Longhorn the pride of the Rosebowl and his championship TROPHY" and do a UPSIDE DOWN HOOKEM HORNS Sign into FACE and not expect some furniture to get knocked over that night. Even you Aggieland, and you.. Boomer Sooneers... know that is NOT a sign of respect and if your gonna do it to the star quarterback of the Texas Longhorns you better be ready for a negative reaction. Hope your a better fighter than he cause im BETTING he can outrun ya!! hell.. you see "the Express" Texas was taught to fight people on every down of the game. Especially if you were black!

Debates.... bigger diety of Texas. Nolan Ryan Vs Tom Landry oooohhhhhhhh...
watch Neftali Feliz tho... duuude. this kid learns control and keeps that second pitch developing he will be devastating. whips it up there around 103 and doesnt look like hes even trying to throw hard. Wayyyyy inconsistan right now so... just remember the name.

Is it written in some secret code somewhere now that if you make a vampire movie now.. it must in some way involve werewolves? i never quite got that anyway. Like, i mean wolves would dig the meat, the vampires would take the blood.. team up dudes. i mean mangled or punctured the heart stopped beating didn it? I feed my dog scraps.. it seems happy.
I have 3 dayssss offf starting today... ahhhhhh.. ballgame tonight.. its the simple things.
