Double Drabble: Star Attraction

A/N: Double drabble.
When Ianto had arrived at the tourist shop entrance this morning, the last thing he’d been expecting was to be accosted by a group of short, squat, yellow-skinned aliens, jostling each other out of the way as they tried to take pictures of him with their version of cameras. Deciding that it would be safter to get them off the street, as it were, he ushered them inside and phoned Jack, who took the invisible lift to the surface so as not to give away their secret entrance.
If anything, Jack’s arrival caused an even greater frenzy of excitement amongst the aliens. At least two of them appeared to swoon at the sight of him, and the others babbled away, snapping pictures, and propelling Jack right up against Ianto, who had by now been corralled against the counter, unable to move without treading on someone.
Jack began talking to the aliens in their own language, listening carefully to their answers as they all tried to talk over one another.
“Any idea what’s going on?” Ianto asked.
“Yes, but you won’t like it.”
“Why not?”
“Apparently, Torchwood is the top-rated TV show on their planet. They’re hoping we’ll perform for them.”
