“You’re wearing a crown! Why are you wearing a crown?” The Doctor isn’t easily confounded, not on a good day, but this is a bit much to take in. He doesn’t typically pick royals as companions; there’s too much pomp and ceremony involved. Okay, there was that one little jaunt with Her Majesty, but there were extenuating circumstances.
“I’d like to know that myself.” Donna glares at the Doctor, like it’s somehow his fault. “I’m not royalty. I’d know if I was!”
“I’m sure it’s just a misunderstanding.”
“She is of Noble birth!” their host exclaims.
“Stupid name,” Donna grumbles.
