“You’ll have to steer!” the Doctor shouted at Amy over the sound of labouring engines. “I don’t have enough hands!” He was working a bank of controls with feverish intensity.
“Steer, okay, I can do that.” Amy slid into the pilot’s chair. “How do I do that?”
“The stick in front of you. Pull it towards you, then turn us hard to starboard!”
Amy grasped the control stick in both hands, pulled back of it…
“Uh, which way’s starboard?” She nudged the stick to the left.
“Right! Turn right! You’ll run us into the planet!”
“Oops! Okay, right it is.”
