Summary: Ianto puts an end to the squabbling over who’s in charge.

A/N: Double drabble.
The constant arguing between Gwen and Owen was really starting to grate on Ianto’s nerves. They’d been at it practically from the moment they’d realised Jack had left without a word, both of them insisting they should be in charge during their leader’s absence even though neither of them had a clue about most of what needed doing.
Running Torchwood wasn’t just about monitoring the Rift and giving orders. It involved, among other things, keeping other agencies informed about what they needed to know, no more and no less, reporting in full every month to their Commander in Chief, ensuring all bills were paid on time, providing for the needs of all aliens living in Cardiff and the surrounding areas, and overseeing operations out at Flat Holm.
Deciding he’d had more than enough of the bickering, Ianto gave an ear-piercing whistle; at least it made everyone shut up.
“Right, now that I’ve got your attention, listen up. I’m taking charge of the Hub, and Owen, you’re in charge out in the field.”
“What gives you the right to order us around?” Gwen protested.
“Seniority. Plus, I’m the only one who can forge Jack’s signature. You won’t get paid without it.”
