Summary: Ryo can’t seem to fall asleep.

A/N: Double drabble.
Moving carefully, hoping not to disturb his partner, Ryo tried to ease his way out of bed. He might even have managed it, except that Dee had one arm draped across Ryo’s chest, and opened his eyes when it was dislodged.
“Hey, you okay? Where’re ya goin’?”
“Sorry, I was trying not to disturb you. I can’t sleep.”
“Why not?” Dee struggled up on one elbow, blearily peering at his lover through the darkness.
“I don’t know, I just don’t feel tired.”
“Not buyin’ it. How can ya NOT be tired after the day we had?”
Ryo sighed. Even when Dee was half asleep it was impossible to slide even so much as a half-truth past him.
“Okay, so my body’s tired, but my brain won’t switch off. Thought I’d go read for a bit, come back to bed when I start to feel sleepy.”
“Like that’ll work. You’ll just doze off on the sofa and wake up with backache.”
“Well it’s no good me lying here tossing and turning, keeping you awake as well. One of us ought to get some sleep.”
“Or ya could just let me tire ya out.” Dee grinned in anticipation. “You know I can.”
