Summary: The Doctor wonders if he’s in a rut.

Sometimes the Doctor wonders if he’s getting a bit set in his ways. He’s been travelling through space and time for well over a thousand years by now, usually with at least one companion, and most of the time he picks humans to accompany him, because they’re remarkably adaptable.
He dresses in earth-type clothing too, and favours earth-type foods. Chips, jelly babies, bananas, Jammie Dodgers, and of course, tea. Does that mean he’s in a rut?
Maybe he should try something different for a while, pick up a non-human companion, sample alien delicacies. Then again, there’s nothing wrong with familiarity.
