Summary: Ianto enjoys sitting high up in a tree even more now than he used to.

A/N: Double drabble. Were-Crow ‘verse.
Jack liked to stand on tall buildings looking out over the city; they were his chosen spot for getting away from everything. Ianto had always preferred trees, climbing high among the branches, out of sight of the people passing below, where he could get some privacy, and be alone with his thoughts.
He still liked being in trees, although these days he didn’t need to climb them, and he could perch a lot higher, even right up at the top where the branches were too thin to support the weight of a human. Yet another unexpected advantage to being a were-crow.
Looking out across the park, using his keen crow vision, he could see the rest of the team in the distance, approaching slowly. There was no need for them to rush since Ianto was in a good position to keep an eye on the latest Rift arrival, nestled in the grass beneath the spreading canopy of a nearby tree. He’d flown ahead to locate and identify, relaying what he found via the small transmitter he wore.
Once the others collected the piece of tech, Ianto would be free to fly for a while. For now, he had guard duty.
