“Did it sting you?” The Doctor sounded concerned. “Wouldn’t be good to get stung by one of those.”
“I don’t think so.” Rose tried to look at the back of her arm. She still wasn’t sure what just happened; she’d been walking along a bit behind the Doctor when a swarm of something had surrounded her, but it was too dark beneath the trees to make them out.
“If you’d been stung, you’d know about it. You’d swell up like a balloon.”
“No, I’m good. What were those things?”
“Jellyfish. They’re usually nocturnal.”
“But jellyfish don’t fly!”
“They do here.”
