A/N: Double drabble.
“Ianto…” Jack wandered into the Hub’s kitchenette, looking vaguely puzzled.
Ianto paused in washing the coffee mugs. “Something wrong?”
“I don’t know. Do you think Nosy’s behaving a little… odd today?”
The Fluff had been with the team for less than a month so there was a lot they still didn’t know about it.
“Why? What’s it doing?”
“It keeps sort of twitching. I was watching it, and it slithered a few feet, stopped, twitched, slithered a bit further, stopped, twitched again…” Jack trailed off. “Does that sound normal to you?”
“Well, now you mention it, no. Then again, how are we to know what’s normal for a Fluff? We don’t know enough about the species to know whether or not certain behaviours are unusual. If you’re worried though, maybe you should ask Owen. He knows more about Fluff physiology than the rest of us.
“You’re right, I should do that.” Jack went to consult Torchwood’s medic.
After watching Nosy for a while, Owen nodded. “I think I know what the problem is.” Fetching a paper bag, he inflated it, snuck up behind Nosy, and burst the bag.
Nosy almost left the floor. “EEEP!”
“Best cure I know for hiccups.”
