Summary: After enduring gruelling trade negotiations, Jack and Ianto need to unwind.

A/N: Double drabble.
Ianto groaned, rubbing at gritty eyes, as he and Jack finally left the conference room. They’d just endured a gruelling eighteen-hour session of trade negotiations with the assorted government ministers and trade unionists representing Arda, a planet in the Sector Seventeen of the Galactic Federation. Considering they’d only been allowed two short breaks for refreshments during the entire round of talks, it was hardly surprising that Ianto felt wrung out, both mentally and physically.
“I know how you feel,” Jack sympathised. “They live up to their name, don’t they? I don’t think we’ve ever ‘ad to work Arda in negotiations.”
Despite, or perhaps because of, his exhaustion, Jack’s words struck Ianto as hilarious and he burst out laughing, although he pulled himself together quickly, not wanting to offend anyone.
“Sorry, tickled my funny bone.”
Jack grinned. “After what we’ve just been through, I think we’re entitled to let off steam.” Jack squeezed his lover’s shoulder, wincing at the tension there. “You’re tied up in knots!”
“Don’t I know it.”
“Come on.” Jack pulled Ianto towards a nearby bar. “You need to get your buzz on.”
“What I need is sleep.”
“Relax first, then sleep. You’ll lay awake all night otherwise.”
