BtVS Double Drabble: Dirty Work

Scrubbing away at yet another top, Buffy wonders if maybe she should stick to dark colors in future, reds, deep purples, and black… Except she’s not a Goth and those colors are just so out this season. It’s all pastels, and they really suit her complexion, but boy do they show the bloodstains!
It’s her blood this time, just a scrape that’s already well on its way to healing, and at least none of her clothes got torn. Human blood isn’t too much of a problem, it washes out pretty well in cold water… How many other teenage girls know that little factoid? A quick rinse and her top should be fine, stain-free, for now. Next time she wears it she might not be so lucky though.
Demon blood can stain, which makes a weird kind of sense. Demons are evil, they’re not going to care if they ruin the Slayer’s stylish new outfit. They’d probably consider that a bonus. Maybe there’s a points system or something so they can keep score, a monthly prize for whichever evil entity causes the most destruction.
Sighing, Buffy sets her clean, wet top aside and steps into the shower. Slaying is dirty work.
