Summary: Ianto and Jack get wind of something that needs fixing.

A/N: Double drabble. Set in my Through Time and Space ‘verse.
During the time Ianto had spent searching for Jack, he’d established himself as something of a freelance fixer. He was known, albeit by an alias, among the shadier sections of society, which included the black-market smugglers and the criminal underworld, and had discovered that most criminals had their own code of honour. Certain factions he steered well clear of, the unscrupulous kind for whom any kind of morality had been dispensed with, but he’d made some good friends among the nobler kind of privateers. They’d come in handy on a number of occasions.
One thing Ianto really enjoyed was taking down corrupt government officials who were profiting from the suffering of others, so he'd put the word out through extremely unofficial channels that he was seeking… let’s call it business opportunities.
“Anything yet?” Jack asked as Ianto returned to their TARDIS.
“Possibly. Burl put the word out for me and thinks he’s got a nibble. There’s a mining planet in a nearby sector that’s taken to offering people lucrative jobs, then paying them a pittance that they have to spend on accommodations and food, so they can never buy out of their contracts.”
Jack grinned. “Sounds right up our alley!”
