A/N: Double drabble.
All the construction work on Dee’s expanded apartment had been completed a couple of weeks earlier, the two apartments knocked into one, rubble cleared, walls freshly plastered, new kitchen fitted, utility room completed, plumbing and wiring run where it was needed, air vents installed… It had been a massive job, and if not for Dee’s friends in the building trade giving up their free time to help it probably would have taken months rather than a few short weeks.
All that was left was to decorate, and arrange the furniture. Both Ryo and Dee had been up ladders most of the afternoon, painting the walls and ceiling in light, fresh, neutral tones. Running out of paint in his tray, Dee had climbed down to get more and was on his way back when he happened to glance up. He paused to admire the view.
“Damn, babe! I ever tell ya how good your ass looks in those jeans from this angle?”
Ryo glared down at his lover through paint-splattered goggles. Dressed in his rattiest old jeans and an equally tattered sweatshirt he felt anything but attractive. “I’m a mess!”
Dee shook his head. “You’re never less than gorgeous to me.”
