Owen eyed Ianto’s immaculate three-piece suit and tie with something approaching a sneer. The younger man had been with Torchwood Three for almost three months and yet he was still dressing as if he worked in an office.
“Why d’you even bother? It’s not like you’re impressing anyone with the fancy get-up. With the possible exception of Jack sodding Harkness.”
Ianto calmly returned Owen’s scrutiny, distastefully studying his torn jeans, worn sneakers, and faded t-shirt. “Unlike some people I could name, I actually take pride in my appearance. You ought to try it sometime.”
Once again, Owen was left speechless.
