I really liked Titan Quest, and I find this bit of news very saddening. Especially since it was a local studio. As a Classical Studies major - and a mythology buff - Titan Quest was a guilty pleasure of mine. Since I am more of a dabbler when it comes to Diablo II I lack that entrenched devotion that some people seem to have with it. So for me Titan Quest didn’t have that certain stigma that some Blizzard fans peg any hack-and-slash game with. It was great based on its own merits.
Spooky. I had actually just un-installed Titan Quest and Immortal Throne about a week ago for disk space, after it had been on my system since release… WHAT HAVE I DONE!? I should just reinstall it and mess around with my Dream/War for old time’s sake.
I hope the talented bunch of Iron Lore vets has luck finding new placement.
