Totally blowing American Idol out of the primetime ratings (partly also because the girls this year suck) is Rustom Padilla's coming out on Pinoy Big Brother. He's having a heart to heart with Keanna Reeves (who's actually one of the cool people on the show, who would've thought?) and building up to it, all the while my siblings are going nuts in front of the TV (I can't describe it, you have to be in this house to see). Then, finally:
(on TV) Rustom Padilla: I'm gay.
Jacqui: *deafening high pitched scream*
Lucas: *high note fag-adelic scream*
Jacqui: Lucs!!! Do you see? It's in to be out!!!!
Lucas: (holds up hand to Jacqui) Apir!
and then...
me: Is he saying this now because he's worried he's getting voted out at the end of the week?
Jacqui: No, he's saying this now because he's worried he's getting voted out at the end of the week!
Pinoy Big Brother, gotta love it.

I had two very nice, very engrossing interviews today, first with Tony Fabella, one of my favorite choreographers ever, and then with my "boss" Katrina Santos-Mercado, or Ate Kets. The second one lasted over five hours as we had so much to talk about, I guess because we were in PBT at different stages in our lives and it became more of a sharing of experiences more than an interview. That was nice, I'm glad I work for someone who has more or less the same mindset as I do. Also, I visited their house and discovered that she comes from a family of artists, which explains why she thinks the way she does. It's all really nice.
About the Tito Tony interview, well, I have a lot of thoughts on it that should either go into my memoirs or, at the very least, a novella-length blog entry. Well, I've made a vow not to go true confessions on my blog anymore, after that entire Rustom thing, so maybe not novella-length. But they're good thoughts. For now, I'm going to zleep. Night!
