I mean, I don't need these people to validate my work as a writer. Even if they're giving me my final grade. Let's just finish this and move on. Please.

do you hear my "amen!"?

Zen is good. Definitely. Always something to strive for. Or 'that which does not kill us makes us stronger'.

Maybe your adviser just didn't think of those things she agreed with before hearing it from someone else. Don't worry about it, I should think that they are being picky becuase they think you have a great thesis in the works and would just like to see you really succeed.

Congrats on passing your defense!

masmahirap kung wala silang masabi kasi walang kuwenta proposal mo di ba? they probably enjoyed having a substantial proposal to sink their teeth into. academics just love to pick at stuff.

pero friend mo rin ako. :)

Funny, just before my defense I could feel my adviser freaking out and she just kept telling me to "nod ans smile". And that's what I did. Then after the entire ordeal she was teasing me about why I hardly said anything.

I have nothing against her though, she did say "Whatever the panel says, i think this is good work." I guess she was just as involved and nervous as me.
