To the girls on the wing they were nothing but a couple of blonde nutters who twittered around G-Wing joined at the hip, always finishing each others sentences. They mothered the new girls, substituting them for the children they'd left behind on the outside. They helped each other through the difficult times. The fought like sisters would, like best friends would. That's what the girls on the wing saw, that's what The Julies wanted them to see, but, when the green doors bolted at lock-up they retreated into their own secret world. A world where best friends were also lovers, snuggled into one bunk, whispering silly things to each other and giggling like school girls. Letting their bodies mould into one, feeling the hot breath of desire sear their skins as tongues made shiny trails from their navels to the napes of their necks then traveling back down to encircle their nipples. They knew every part of each other. They were each other, a carbon copy. But, when the sun arose, the lights flicked on, and the green door unbolted on another day, they put their secret world to bed and became the two loveable nutters once again.
