"Excuse me, but is this seat taken?"

Lou looked up momentarily at the blonde woman standing in front of her, before her gaze shifted back to the naked form dancing on the stage. "No, no. It's a free country, you want to sit there, sit there."

"Thanks," the woman replied. "I just didn't fancy sitting at a table by myself."

Lou simply smiled before her gaze again got side-tracked by the glistening tanned body of a pole dancer.

"So, um, do you come here often?" The woman once again spoke up.

Lou turned her head and stared at the blonde in front of her, before bursting into laughter. The blonde buried her face in her hands, her face flushed red. "Oh God! I'm bloody terrible at this kind of thing. Sorry. I don't get out often, not to places like this anyway."

"It's okay, you don't have to be nervous," she extended her hand out. "I'm Louise. Lou for short. And you are?"

The blonde took her hand and shook it, it felt so warm and soft. "Karen," she fumbled on her words. "I'm.. um Karen."

"Nice to meet you, Karen," Lou smiled. "And to answer your question, yes, I do come here often, but you know that's a terrible pick-up line right?" The smile on her face widened as Karen's face again flushed red. Lou liked making the girls blush, there was always something so sexy about a girl with reddened cheeks.

"Sorry," Karen apologised once again. "You think I'd be used to talking to women. I mean, I used to lock them up on a daily basis," The words tumbled out of her mouth before she could find the correct context. "Oh God!" she exclaimed, again burying her face in her hands.

"Kinky, huh? Well, as they say, looks can be deceiving. I certainly didn't see you as the type."

"I'm not," Karen laughed to herself. "That just came out wrong," She paused and cleared her throat. "I was a P.O. Sorry. Prison Officer," she corrected herself. "Wing Governor, actually."

Lou's face lit up. "Are you shitting me or being serious?"

Karen looked at her in confusion.

"Larkhall?" Lou simply asked.

Karen nodded.

"Oh my God! You're the infamous Karen Betts, aren't you?"

Karen laughed. "I don't know about the infamous part, but indeed I am Karen Betts," Karen pushed her hair behind her ears and leaned across the table. "You're not a reporter are you? I've had my fair share of people digging into my personal life, and..."

"No," Lou interrupted her. "As strange as this is going to sound, I work at Larkhall. You're looking at the new Deputy Governor," she flashed another smile. Karen thought it quite adorable.

Karen slumped back into her seat, relief clearly registering on her face. "Deputy Governor, eh? That sounds pretty swish to me," she winked.

Lou tried to glaze over the importance of her job, not wanting to sound high and mighty. "Nah, I'd say it's pretty much the same as what a Wing Gov does myself. Plus I still have to answer to 'the master'."

Karen looked intrigued. "Now who's sounding kinky?"

Lou laughed. "If you knew Joy Masterton you wouldn't be saying that. She's.. um, very hard. Militant would probably describe her more accurately. And she clearly wants to jump me, it's almost embarrassing."

Karen had only met Lou mere minutes but she wouldn't blame this "Joy Masterton" from wanting to jump her. Both women fell silent, wanting to say something but unsure how to say it. Lou finally decided she'd be the first one to break it. "Fancy taking this party back to mine?" she asked, almost shyly.

"What? You have gorgeous pole dancers back at yours I can ogle?" Karen joked.

Lou laughed. "I don't like to brag to all the ladies," she winked. "But, I've got a secret room with a shiny pole and I've been known to work it on a special occasion."

"So, what's so special about this occasion?"

A sly smile crept across Lou's face. "Let's find out."
