I was told on FB that I was a "Christian-basher" because I stated that in this country, "Married" is a legal status, not purely a religious one, and FURTHER MORE, we have freedom to choose ANY religion or NONE AT ALL, and someone using their religious beliefs as an excuse to deny me my EQUAL LEGAL RIGHTS is INEXCUSABLE.
I told her that although I was agnostic, I had many Christian friends whom I love greatly, my boyfriend is a Christian, and the Christians I love the best are the loving, supportive ones who don't use their religious beliefs TO EXCLUDE ME FROM MY EQUAL LEGAL RIGHTS.
