Woot!
yeah, so I had a weekend off, for all of about 10 minutes. Still, it was fun while it lasted :)
This coming 2 weeks is looking even more hectic than the last, if that's possible, but allegedly I'll be paid the 2+grand owed to me so will actually have the money to do it, and also possibly pay my tax bill in Jan once I've actually worked it out, *twiddles thumbs and whistles*
Christmas week is looking deceptively empty. I say deceptively because I am in fact doing dinner 3 times that week, it's just not in the diary as google calendar doesn't have different colours for different things :( Might have to go back to using outlook, or both if I can figure out how to sync them....Post xmas I've only got one gig, and that's NYE, which will be nice as I seriously need to do some personal stuff I've just not had time for. You know, like lounge around and read a book, oh yeah, and SLEEEEEEEP :) NYE itself does pose a bit of a conundrum tho as I don't know if I should actually work the day itself. I'm pretty sure there'll be a vj there who can press the buttons and do the confetti, like last year. Only thing is I'm putting the Disasterpiece in as control so it might well confuse the hell out of them, lol. I should also ask around and find out what everyone else is doing over NYE, never know, there might be a party to attend....
In other news the DQ is having a bit of a re-furb and I've been asked to quote for some changes, should be an interesting time. I've already set out a plan and am currently trying to figure out how to export video from a wysi file. Not much luck there I'm afraid so it might have to be either a "live" demonstration or a selection of stills (screen grabs) but it's looking quite nice :)
