hmmmm, Ive been wanting to update lately for the past week or so but every time I get to it I decide not to...I guess cause there isnt much new news. I started school. Just taking a Ceramics class and a college algebra class. My ceramics class is going to kick ass, Ive got a real good teacher but so far its pretty boring. This other girl and I are the only ones that have worked with clay before so just about everyone in there is a beginner...soooooooooo the firing methods, types of clay, glazes, and firing temps the teacher told us about the first day I already knew all about so it was a little boring. She talked about a few firing methods that we would "Touch on maybe a few times" (because really only the advanced ceramics classes do it)...Ive already done it quite a bit in my highschool art classes so thats a little disappointing too. I WILL get to learn how to throw class though instead of sculpting and thats something Im excited about. I picked about 75lbs of clay and some tools I needed at The House of Clay...so tomorrow Ill be ready for class. There isnt much about my algebra class to shout about except that I got the teacher of course with about 3 different accents and can hardly speak english, hes got a PHD, a masters, and a BA in three different subjects and this is his first basic class hes taught so hes gonna be way over my head....He did stress on how he wont ever fail anyone, and if we need a few points to get to the next letter grade he will boot us up there (if he sees us showing up to class regularly). Thats about all there. ummm Last night I got a Red Tailed Boa. A guy that just moved into my house had it but it was over at his mother in laws house, apparently it was a kids snake but the kid stopped taking care of it which was pretty obvious when I went to go get it. The poor snake was in a cage with piss soaked (and dried) ollllddd newspaper...chunks of shit all over and what water was once in the bowl had turned green and dried up into nothing. Im suprised the snake wasnt dead.....BUT!!!....Nooowwwww hes in a nice clean cage with aspen bedding a water bowl with fresh water in it, 2 heat lamps on top of the cage and hes got stuff to crawl around on. I gave it a bath last night too so its all clean. But yea hes about 6 feet long and almost as thick as the top of my forearm and way cool. My sister is coming wednesday to stay the night on her way up to St Louis...I gotta call her to make sure but Im excited about that too. anndddd thats all the news here.
