Lost in the Darkness, a Death Note fanfic...it doesn't make sense until you've read the whole thing first, and even then, it's only the general plot line that becomes clear. Written by a supposedly twenty year old American and for some reason labeled as an adventure/humor, the story starts off with Light and a little blind girl he literally bumps into.
Light smiled and took her hand and puller her up. Light lead her to a café not too far away. “What’s your name” asked Light as they walked into the café. “My name is Yuzuki” said Yuzuki in a soft voice. Light could tell by her appearance that she was young.
L has nothing on Light's detective skills.
Yuzuki just stood there listening to all the noise. She was trying to tell where she was.
Light never tells her. No really, he doesn't. After introducing himself, he says she should be fine there and leaves. Bad as it sounds, this is probably the closest he comes to being in character.
The next day Light was hanging out with Ryuzaki and saw Yuzuki over by the park. He notices that she was looking around with a worried loon on her face.
Seeing Eye Dog: you're doing it wrong.
Yuzuki was looking for a toy store that she knew was around here but she couldn’t figure out which way it was.
Who is taking care of this child?!
Light didn’t know what to do, he was confused by his emotions.
What the fuck, he's not a robot.
-snip- Ryuzaki uses his Jedi powers and senses that Light knows the girl, so he approaches her and Light follows with wide eyes. Then she turns to them, causing Ryuzaki go wide eyed...for some reason. Light and Yuzuki then exchange hellos.
Ryuzaki turned his head and looked at Light and saw a small light in his eyes. Does this girl mean something to him thought Ryuzaki.
I should hope not, seeing as they only briefly met the day before and she's a ten year old.
Light’s dad was going through some papers and found a story on a girl name Yuzuki Sasaki.
What a cowinkadink! (This is the next paragraph, by the way. No transistion whatsoever.)
“It was a storm night and a family of three where driving home when it crashed into a tree. No one knows what had caused the accident [...]
Call me crazy, but I think the stormy night and the tree they crashed into might have had something to do with it.
but the only survivor was a little girl name Yuzuki Sasaki. Since the accident she had lost her sight, the doctors don’t know if she was blind before or after the accident [...]
Couldn't they check her records? Or, I don't know, just ask her?
Light’s dad (that's his name) wondered if Kira had anything to do with this but he really didn’t know.
Yes, because Kira kills all sorts of people with no rhyme or reason.
-snip- We jump right back to Light telling Ryuzaki how he met the blind girl, then ditching him to help her find the toy store. Ryuzaki instantly finds this suspicous; I don't know why, unless he suspects Light of being a pedophile. Then we're back with Light's dad again, with new infomation on the car crash.
Light’s dad went back into his office and began to think about the new development. I can’t believe that her father was killer once in his life he thought.
Okay, so now things are starting to make sense, given that you fill in the missing words and grammar.
Once he was finished with his thinking he left and headed home.
Because he can't think at home.
He had no idea that Light had meet her or that he had began to like her.
After Light had took Yuzuki to the toy store he began to walk home. He had no idea that he was starting to have feelings for her and that he would soon be in a big mess,
Oh L, why did I ever doubt you?
-snip- Light finds the paper and realizes he was the cause of the car crash.
No…. thought Light. Tears began to fall with him noticing them.
Once again proving that nothing, nothing, gets past Light!
Kira had something to do with the wreck that night. He didn’t know that he would cause Yuzuki to lose both of her parents. He began to have a conflict with his self.
Why are upset he dissevered it
I'm sorry, but no one "disseveres" this.
Yes I know but… Yuzuki, she’s just a kid
And she's not the only orphan you made, I'm sure.
Light closed his eyes and covered his face with his hands, he didn’t know what he was feeling.
But it was probably just gas.
