self-spork fail
so I told a new friend of mine that if she had the courage to join this comm and spork some of her old stuff, I would spork one of mine. unfortunately I wasn't able to get past the first word without cracking up from the melodramatics (the fic starts with a Big No, just to give you an idea) and the names. oh god the horrible, long, fake japanese names.
I kind of REALLY want to see what happens if someone else would spork this (anyone? anyone? Bueller?) please? I'm also a litle biased, but I don't think the grammar is too bad (especially considering I was in 8th grade when I wrote this. my one pride about it is that I didn't have any of my characters falling in love with any canon characters or breaking up canon pairings). so I instead, in order to make this post legit, bring you two or three more interesting bits. it's... bad. it's not one specific thing, (and the character doesn't even show the extent of her mary sue-ness. trust me) but all of it put together... ::facepalm of shame::

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Sailor Dream Catcher rushed with the last of her strength; long hair streaming behind her, to reach the body of a bloody, golden-orange lion that was lying in front of a stone wall.
oh noes, teh drama! sweetie, if you've got no strength you should not be rushing anywhere, especially at a lion. even if you do know it's human form
"Soulmates," she said when they pulled apart for air, "we’re soulmates and I wouldn’t want it any other way." Behind them Sailor Polaris blew her nose. "Sunlight Knight my love, one day, I promise you, I’ll save you. I’ll save you and I won’t be fatally injured."
I'm also crying, but that's from hysterical laughter
Inaki turned her magenta eyes to the speakers, a girl an inch or so shorter than her with flaming crimson hair pulled up in a ponytail at the top of her head. The girl smiled her wide, dark-orange eyes twinkling...
you read that right, I gave my main character purple, sorry, magenta eyes.
also, fire-colored hair and orange eyes? me have a thing for color themes? nooooooo...
honestly, I love the sailor moon fandom, and original senshi can be done well. mine weren't...
