9 Badfic: I read it so you don't have to
It’s a shame that I’m still finding so many badfics for 9.
Aw, but the Pit isn’t the only place to find this. A search for fan fiction on dA led me to another story about an OC.
"She is perfect" The Proffesor said. A young-looking doll-like girl stood up. She smiled and started to play with things. Her curiosity was cute and fun. Over the years, the girl played with the proffesor.
Wow, these aren't Mary-Sue characteristics at all.
The proffesor treated her as his daughter, but one dark day, the professor put her in a small box and took her upstairs and into a attic.
Oh my god! They turned the scientist into a murderer! Oh, what’s that? That was a doll character? Then why was she always described with human descriptions? That only confuses idiots like me!

14 was glowing, (yay, another OC) ‘A baby’ she was going to have a baby! Her arms wrapped around her stomach.
I wish you could all see how hard I’m clenching my teeth to not shout out my rage. These characters are DOLLS! They don’t have sperm, eggs, or anything that makes pregnancy even possible!

RAAAAAAGE!!! Am I the only one who thought 6 seemed more afraid of people talking to him than of the monsters trying to kill him? 6 is not a people person, okay? Him falling in love with some random OC that, as far as I know, has been around for five minutes since you never told anything resembling a backstory just doesn’t work. The thought of him having sex... I can’t see it, I seriously can’t summon the image to my mind, it’s that impossible.
She jumped as 8’s figure blocked the light “What do you want?” he grumbled.
Okay, I don’t think 8 is the You Shall Not Pass type of person. In a better story, I might let it slide, but this isn’t working

Since when was 8 Basta from Inkheart? He isn’t a psycho, he’s a yes-man, why would- just why?
1 came toward the two 18 right at his heels; the offspring of 1 and 8 resembled 1 in practically every way except for the clashes he occasionally had with 7 and 9's son,16, a perfect inheritance from the brute 8.
So... many things... wrong with that sentence... The trope of Everything is better with babies has been upped to eleven!
Okay, so 14 tells 6 that she’s pregnant, and he freaks out. Rightly so, I think, since he’s not mentally stable enough to take care of a child. I do think it would be interesting if a good writer took this premise and kind of fit it with the premise of I Am Sam, I’d read that. Anyway, continuing with 6’s freakout.
This poor innocent could end up like him rambling on drawing whatever the voices told the things they forced him to see. (My kingdom for a proper comma! You can take the horse too, I don’t care.) Being called a lunatic, maniac he should have never been created.
What version of the movie did you see? When I said “mentally unstable”, I meant that he seems to not be totally immersed in reality and he’s kind of childish. Nowhere in the movie did he act like a lunatic. Nor was he called such. Yeah, he was kind of ignored, but no one told him he should never have been created.
Also, this idea that 6 hears voices has got to stop! Some writers have done this strange theory well, but people treat it as if it’s a fact and it makes so sense. I hate fanon.
So 14 is distraught over hearing that 6 doesn’t want the kid that shouldn’t exist in the first place, and runs to 2’s room, calling him Daddy when she enters (yes, I hate it too).
2 put a hand on her stomach “So my little grandchild is in there aye’?”
No, Scottish 2 is mine! Mine, I tell you! And can we please get one comma into a sentence?
Back with 6, 9 talks to him about how great it is to have a kid, and he imagines his daughter next to him, but shakes that acid trip off.

“But what!?” a voice asked 5 emerged the one eyes stitchpunk put a hand on the striped doll’s shoulder (Please. Just one comma, anywhere will do) “You love her she loves you you gave my sister (Hreh? Why is she related to everyone? If it’s because she looks like them, this story has the largest count of incest I’ve ever seen) this miracle the child may or may not be like you but will that stop you from loving it?”
“No of course not!” the image of the little girl came up again she hugged him tightly “Daddy you love me right?”
Why do badfic authors do this type of stuff? The mind doesn’t work that way, that a thought suddenly becomes a tangible thing. Unless you’re mentally ill, which 6 isn’t.
Anyway, so after getting through that conflict that I think lasted an hour, 6 says he wants to have a daughter, and everything is right as rain, except for my faith in this fandom.
