^^ You're welcome. It was actually an online friend who got me interested in the series [mostly VII...big surprise there XD]. But it's so tempting to want to go overboard with the icons-I've found so many awesome ones outside. ^^;

I'd played it before, but only really got into FFVII itself because of an online friend and her love of it. Then I played Crisis Core and Zack stole my heart... I was doomed from there on out, and am now busily working on fic for the series. :P

And yeah, I'm pretty sure I face palm'd IRL as soon as I saw it.

XD Lucky. I have yet to get my hands on a copy...the only one of the games I've actually had any experience in would be FFX, I believe. ^^; My friend's been through damn near all of them if I'm not mistaken, though. So if I ever got the urge to write fic, I could just go to her for proofreading/beta work.

I think, once I got over my initial 'WTF?', my next thought was 'Must. Spork. NAO.' And then the dialogue came to me while out on a dog walk. XD

;p They really do worm their way into your heart, don't they? Almost like a virus. Hee. [And yes...as far as fave characters go, I've grown quite fond of the redhead in about a year's time. <3]

I've only recently beaten FFVII itself for the first time, because I was never all that into it. But when I enter a fandom I dedicate myself to getting my hands on as much of the canon as I can... I plan to play Dirge of Cerberus next, hehe. :P

My co-writer, for one of the FFVII fics I'm working on, and I were lucky enough to score a really amazing beta for that fic. We're so happy about it. We've got around 9 chapters written and are still chugging along to get more of a buffer up before we start posting. ...and I just today got an idea for another little, much shorter series that everyone's begging me to write.

I just backed away slowly from the section. It makes me sad because I'm really starve for that pairing, but, alas, I am so picky!

Yes, yes they do. I love Reno, but Zack has to be my favorite. He's just too adorable for words. Not to mention I have a soft spot for such a tragic character. Dx

It took me so long to get into video games though, aside from Pokemon [practically the default by this point], so I'm still learning my way around the systems. ^^; My friend suggests watching the cut scenes on youtube, along with recorded gameplay, if nothing else. Oh, geeze, I hate when that happens. Or when its a genfic and then SURPRISE! It's a pairing. I'm pretty picky about pairings, so when I get one ambushing me it drives me nuts.

That part of the game was great! And yes, you do actually get to run around in trunks and beat monsters with an umbrella in Crisis Core. It's great fun. Also, if you haven't seen it... Zack doing THIS is one of the best things ever. ;D

:) I got into them when Yellow hit the shelves. It took damn near eight years before I learned how to actually raise my team correctly-before, I just had two to three monsters that were overly souped up, leading to much losing against certain Gym Leaders/Elite Four Members/Final Bosses ['cough' Red 'cough ( ... )

Hee. :D Detective Conan was the fandom I spent 2009 and mst of 2010 writing fic for, but FFVII has recently stolen me away.

Ugh, yeah, that's just... So much no. I love every single character in a cast, and try to write them to the best of my ability, and as IC as possible even if their appearance is brief. Plus, I'm always more satisfied when things are as IC as possible!

It was, Zack just a huge loveable dork and I love writing him. He's amazing. XD

I only got those two after getting into Yellow, then Gold and Silver, if I'm not mistaken. They were much harder to come by at that point-I had to look for them used. I only have GS and Crystal now, and they don't really work anymore on my Advance SP. IDK if it's the system itself, or the games, but for whatever reason they freeze up. And I can no longer save... :(

I just got into 'DC' last year, but I've known about it since I was at least in elementary, thanks to an older brother and his love of anime while growing up. ;p It's so awesome; I love the attention to detail, and the character development as well. I <3 Ran with a passion-she and Shinichi make quite the pair, even just as friends ( ... )

The only one I don't have a copy of is HeartGold, which makes me sad. I like having all of the versions in a generation so I can trade back and forth. :P It sucks that your games don't work, it sounds like a problem with the game cartridge itself. :[

I got into DC really big back in '09, because I just started reading the manga online and was hooked. I never planned to write fic for it, but... then I did. I write mostly for the pairing of Kaitou Kid/Shinichi, though I have one Gen/Shinichi/Ran fic. (Edited to Clarify: By gen, I mean genfic, not a typo of Gin LOL.) Most of my DC fics are on hold for the moment though. FFVII is eating my braaaain ( ... )

Yeah, I've got a good bunch on the DS platform, too. Pearl, Diamond, Platinum, Explorers of Time/Darkness, and SoulSilver. Still waiting for the pre-orders of Black/White to come in, though they'll have to be sent across the ocean, since I'm leaving in a little under two months. The future, how unpredictable you are.
