From the fandom beyond saving

I've sort of accepted it's pointless to spork South Park fics unless they're really, truly beyond comprehension, but this one just tickled me.

Kyle looked at his room, saddened by what he saw. Posters of films like Die Hard and of bands like The Raging Pussy's, when what he really wanted were Posters of Glee and Twilight. He hated having to hide who he was, especially to Stan.

...

...

Liking Die Hard = only for straight men or presumably butch lesbians

Liking Twilight and Glee = only for girls or gay men

I'M SORRY WHAT. The sheer amount of stereotyping and ignorance in that one line has got to win some sort of prize or something.

That's when his Mom had told him, in private, that if he was gay he would have to leave and never come back.

WOAH WHAT. Sheila is a bitch but she has seriously mellowed since her warmongering days. Besides, I don't think the Big Bad Brof Mom would pull her son away quietly to say she has a problem with gays. If Sheila was homophobic, she'd probably be leading Gays Are Going To Hell Or At Least They Would If It Existed rallies.

But when Stan didn't seem to answer [a text from Kyle], he had no choice but to continue his day and go to his next class.

I sort of love the idea that if Stan had replied, Kyle would have done something different. Like, I don't know, move to Paraguay or set the Post Office on fire or seduce Butters.

And then this summary because I just love it.

Token and Wendy break up so Clyde goes to comfort his friend, with whom he has confused feelings for.

With whom he has confused feelings for.

That is all.
