[Piccolo was sitting on the front steps looking very, very bored. He had been waiting for two weeks to get outside, but now that he was he found himself with nothing to do. His little roommate had returned to her rightful room and now Piccolo didn't have anyone to show off the fruits of his training to, making training feel a little pointless. And

[Conan pulls the front door opened with only his right hand as his left arm is in a sling. After he gets the door open far enough he goes back to retrieve a soccer ball he'd left on a chair. Once the soccer ball is out he sets it down again and goes to pull the door closed. Having an injured shoulder is a pain.

He then goes to get his soccer ball again and moves down the front steps so he's on the grass before starting bounce it on his knee.]

Hello!

[He finally acknowledges the other person outside. He wasn't trying to be rude, he was just trying to get situated so he could bounce his soccer ball.]

[Piccolo watched the kid get set up with a bored curiosity. He remembered this kid from that abandoned city... the wordy mouthy little runt.]

Hey kid... what happened to your arm?

This? [he looks down at his shoulder] Some mean Ojisan shot me there. It really hurt!

[Piccolo smirked and rested his chin on his hand]

Well I hope you got him back.

[Holmes as just headed outside when he saw Piccolo, sat alone. Sitting next to him, he gives him a smirk]

You look bored.

[Piccolo side glances at the human. Last time he saw this human he looked a lot worse.]

Bored as death...

[he smirks]

I get the feeling we've done this before... only in rougher shape.

[Holmes frowns as he tries to remember]

Yes..I do vaguely remember you..in the Ukraine wasn't it?

Ukraine? Is that were it was? Well from what I remember you barely knew what was going on and I was missing an arm.

[He chuckles.]

Well I guess it's good to see you didn't kick it after all.

[He materializes a glass of water and offers it to him]

Zidane was wondering the ground and currently, he was rolling his eyes at all the lame pranks and otherwise not frightening shenanigans going on. He didn't scare easy, which only heightened his desire to actually be scared and nothing and no one had succeeded so far. From what little had been explained to him, wasn't that what this whole Hallow-thing was about? Not that the whole celebrating fear was something he grasped, but he appreciated the costumes. He was a thief and an actor - he couldn't not appreciate it.

He noticed Piccolo and walked over. "You don't look like you're having fun either."

It's boring not being able to kill all the weird things running around the halls.

[Okay so that was a bit of a lie, but he wasn't about to tell the kid he was sulking because his little human girl friend went back to her own room...]

"I they're supposed to be scary." the thief replied, unimpressed. He took a huge bite out of an apple he had brought from the kitchen. Through a mouthful he explained, "I fought monsters all the time. They were much scarier and much tougher. Maybe I just got used to looking at stuff like that. But if I see a Ruby Dragon or a Malboro wondering around here I'm going to get worried. No one wants to meet those guys."

[Piccolo throws his head back and laughs]

I'M scarier then anything the Author cooked up here!

[Piccolo looks up with interest when the boy mentions the monsters]

Dragon? Malboro? Are they strong?
