[Mello's seen shit like that, when Kira kills people. That's his first impulse and he curses under his breath. He saw the feed and now he's running towards Eddie, Bubastis at his heels. She's trying to talk to him, but Mello is ignoring her. Mello croaches down next to the roadie, fingers finding his pulse]

He's alive.

[He sounds genuinely surprised]

[Sorry for ruining your hopes Mello, but Eddie's alright. Just moderately dizzy and wondering what the hell happened. Anvil coming back into the area looking equally as worn and sheepish in comparison to her usual demeanor.]

S'good to know. Dyin's not really my kind of thing. [He sits up, rubbing the back of his head uncertainly as Anvil settles herself down on his shoulder.] Still would be nice to know what the hell that was though...

Are you alright dear? I knew I should have insisted you come with me- [For once its Anvil rambling, Eddie quietly reaching up to hold her beak closed for a moment. Gentle about it considering it's apart of her face. He letting go when she's calmer. He glances back at Mello and Bubastis. They'd probably be able to answer his questions minus a ramble.] Either of you know what exactly happened?

[Bubastis huffs] You're not going to listen to me are you?

[Mello's eyes sneak in her direction] Probably not, why?

Fine! Then I'll just show you!

[With that the cat begins to walk away and Mello ignores her for a little while then his eyes go wide and his pupils dilate. He grabs at Eddie to stay sitting up. There's a pathetic mewl from Bubastis, she's in pain too]

[The cat rushes back to his side and Mello begins to pet her absentmindedly]

Okay, now that, that makes sense. Painful, painful sense. [Eddie is having sympathy pains at the display, gently petting his own Daemon, Anvil firmly rooted to the roadie's shoulder at this point.]

I should have told you sooner, but I didn't think we'd honestly get very far from each other.

[Eddie nods, still momentarily content to stay seated, he'd rather not topple over while Anvil's on his shoulder, the roadie has no idea how that'd work for them.]
