[Soon after waking up, Howl was visibly distressed at--]

[He runs out into the road, and shoots himself in to the air, looking around for people, or the Manor, or anything. Landing lightly on a rooftop, he just looks over the abandoned city, his expression one of horror at the ugliness of the place, and the sheer lack of life. Figuring that there must be atleast someone with him, he holds up his right hand and fires a stream of multicoloured fireworks high into the air, before taking a seat on the edge of the rooftop, firing more fireworks every now and then, sulking in between explosions]
