Summary: Sniper!Dean has been keeping himself out of the way for a week, but keeping his family safe. Sam's had enough of his shit.
Warnings: Language. Zombie slaying.
Dean had been using the hunt - also known as so many zombies he lost count a few days in - in the same way he usually does when he's feeling depressed and having his soul eaten away by guilt: As a distraction from all the bad feelings. Not only was he feeling guilty about the whole demon thing, and what he did to... well, to everyone, but especially his mom. Oh God, his mom... he should have been able to stop it somehow. But not only was he dealing (or not dealing as the case may be) but he was trying to avoid even thinking about the kids. His kids, and the ones he looked after that weren't. The loss of every single one of them hurt. But even more so the loss of the ones that were obviously his. And It wasn't like there was just one or two that he had to cope with losing, there were ten hooles in his heart. Eleven including the psycopahtic kid he'd helped out - and nearly died doing so.
He hadn't slept since they arrived. If he had been human, he probably wouldn't have eaten much, if at all. All he'd done is find somewhere high up, after finding a sniper rifle and some ammo - he didn't even question what they were doing there, it was good luck and he wasn't questioning it as he was long overdue some - and making sure he could see his brother and his mother most of the time. Any time a zom bie got too close, BAM! Sniper bullet through the head. If they were close enough, he would switch to a pistol and conserve rifle ammo, but mostly it was sniper.
At this point in time, he was trained on where his mom was, and didn't look up from down the rifle scope. He sighed heavily, thoough. "Took you long enough to find me. Whatever it is, Sammy, save it - I'm busy."
