Glad you had a wonderful time. I so agree about the power of music. I've been writing a lot in teh last few months. I'm getting close to confident enough to start putting some of the songs out there.

I'm glad you found lovely people at the gig. As nerve wracking as it can be to go to things alone, you do often meet the loveliest folks and of course you already always have one thing in common, as you're all there for the same thing!

I must have some kind of... i don't know, friendly face or something. At the Raintown gig last Friday, I was with my mum and still got adopted by a couple of older ladies, who turned out to be a lot of fun, and I know all about their travels around the UK seeing Raintown.

I think at the moment, the ppower music has is... making me forget everything else. For those couple of hours, the only thing that matters is that band/that singer and their music. REALLY looking forward to the next couple of gigs
(and non-fandom gigs seem to be much less.. stressful!)
