[ This entry is backdated to Saturday evening.
Members of her household probably noticed Rika setting up for the party quite early in the afternoon. She bought some eggs, milk, etc. for baking and a few disgustingly sweet things --- and spicy things, for her own sanity-- to help keep Erika and her occupied. As evening comes closer, she has set aside

At any rate, she is knocking at the door.]

[ Rika leads the way, purposely moving a bit quickly; she doesn't want Erika to see her Mayfield family photos. ]

She says nothing, though, and follows happily.]

This is my room. It is the only bedroom I am allowed into I cannot go into Mama and Papa's rooms. [ A lie, this isn't really an established rule. She's just trying to keep Erika from being involved with them.
She turns back and opens the door, holding it open for Erika. One might note that Rika's room is very neat and she has a few stuffed animals thrown about. The Bernkastel wine is hidden in her laundry basket. ]

[She wonders if the room was always this clean or if Rika simply tampered with evidence. She also notes the 'rule', though it matters little, unless she had hidden clues in the parents' rooms.
Now, to think of a way to get Rika to leave the room with Erika in it even for only a minute...]

Are you thirsty, shall I get you a drink? [ Rika's curious to see what sort of things Erika looks for. She hopes that'll help her figure out more about Bernkastel. ]

[Even cheap tea should take a minute or two to prepare--enough time for her to inspect the room.]

[ Taking one last look around her room. She's counting on her careful organization to clue her in on where Erika looks, if Erika doesn't get things back perfectly. ]

[She readies herself. She's going to bolt as soon as that door clicks and the steps are far enough away.]

[ Rika heads to the door and carefully closes it behind her, then heads to the kitchen. To make the fastest pot of tea ever. ]

The closet!
The laundry basket!
And any boxes, bureaus, or chests Rika may have.
She checks each one quickly and thoroughly while keeping in mind to 'keep the crime scene undisturbed'. She pats the bed to check to see if anything is hidden between the mattresses or underneath the blankets; she flops onto the ground to scan the underside of the bed. Nothing! She moves everything back to how they were.
She scurries over to the closet and throws it open. She looks behind the clothes hanging and beneath them; she skims through the clothes, but noen of them resemble anything she had seen Master wear. Nothing! She moves everything back to how they were.
She tosses open the cover of the laundry basket and shoves her hand through the clothes to...hit something that most certainly should not be with laundry. She tears it out! A wine bottle, which she had been expecting to find--after all, Vietnam had already told her Rika liked wine.
But. The wine...
Bernkastel? She shoves the bottle back to the bottom. She moves everything ( ... )

[ Rika is very careful when opening the door, balancing a tray with tea cups in a tea pot. She glanced around the room, but cannot see anything disturbed. tsk. So much for that method. She's certain that Erika has made herself familiar with the room, though. ]
I hope I did not take too long, Erika!
