Logan Echolls & Veronica Mars, Veronica Mars
Oh, what to say about these two? I mean, really where to start (at the beginning, two people who loved a girl named Lilly Kane and were devastated by her murder), and where to end (him, in Navy Whites, her, in a t-shirt and panties, promising that 180 days is nothing after years and years of separation and missed chances, etc., and YES, they are finally HOPEFULLY getting it right)?
I just don't think it gets any angstier than two kids who are abandoned by parents, devastated by loss, full of rage, afraid to love at the same time desperately driven to grab on and hold on to the one person who really gets them, and then of course, the perpetual I'm-going-to-mess-this-up-right-now-so-I-don't-have-to-deal-with-it-later, and BAM, nine years later, they finally listened to the universe and let it lead them back together. And it was gloriously angsty, because how else could they do it?
