[+] So, when Phillip Phillips (TLDR; dumbest name ever, poor guy) won AI last year, I liked him okay, and I had downloaded some of his performances. I thought "Home" was easily the best single AI ever concocted for their winner; it wasn't overwrought like every single one before it, and it fit him quite well. But his new song, "Gone, Gone, Gone," is such a GREAT song. I just can't stop listening to it. So, WGWG, you made good. Well done.
[+] On that note, even though AI has some great female artists up and coming, I still enjoy The Voice like a BAJILLION times more. It's just a better show, period.
[+] I am seriously considering getting a tumblr; it's just that LJ is becoming a ghost town, it really is. D: D: D: It makes me sad. And I don't want to engage in the crazy at tumblr, but I miss the interaction.
[+] Also, I'm still rewatching S3 of TVD; I seriously think the scene where Damon's thinking of Mason while he's rolling up his ruined rug is in my Top 5 favorite moments of the series. It never fails to put a smile on my face. And, strangely, after all my issues with the latter half of S3 (which I'm about to embark upon), I'm beginning to feel like I'm in a very small minority of people who still likes the show. It's like everyone on my f-list and everywhere I go, there is so much hate for the show. I can't decide why it isn't that way for me. I mean, no one loves Damon and Elena more than me, but I just don't feel like anything that's happened is in someway taking away from the heart of what they are, I guess. And I feel like all the other developments are excellent, and even though I'm sad about some of the characters we've lost this season, I'm not mad about any of it. I really don't know; I guess after the Wickery Bridge Debacle and 3x20, it's impossible for me to be disheartened by anything. Anyway, the point of this ramble: sometimes it's hard to be that person who is still having a good time when everyone around you thinks the party sucks. D: D: D: D:
