I love reading and writing, but I am a very literal person, who appreciates very literal stories. I enjoy a good metaphor, but I don't want too much highfalutin mumbo jumbo, as Gilbert Blythe would say.
Except when it's really good. When the abstract writing is so good it is literal? That's what I wish I achieved more often.
